Loop is looking for a Senior Pricing Manager to build and lead our pricing strategy and operations. You'll work directly with our GTM, Product, and Finance teams to develop and execute pricing strategies that align with Loop's growth objectives while delivering value to our merchants. This role will establish Loop's first dedicated pricing function and be responsible for creating frameworks that scale with our rapid growth.
Right away, we've listed what we think you'll be spending your time on. We're growing fast, and growth means the challenges we'll work on together will change as we lead Loop through new and different phases. We'll be looking for you to have examples of when you've tackled these challenges throughout your career.
We've laid out the experience we think is important to set you up for success in this role. But, we appreciate that different humans will solve problems in different ways, so we don't expect you to fit exactly in a box of requirements.
At Loop, we believe that flexibility and choice are what allow you to do your best work. With our Blended Working Environment, you have options ranging from joining our HQ office (in Columbus, Ohio), opting into a Hub (a location with 4+ team members), or staying totally secluded (our version of remote). Our team is spread across the United States, select provinces in Canada (Ontario & British Columbia), and the United Kingdom. Wherever you live, you can create the work environment that best matches your preferences and lifestyle.

What You'll Do:

  • Establish Loop's first dedicated pricing function. You’ll build on existing pricing models and processes while inventing new frameworks and pricing models to drive sustainable growth in both existing and new products for our merchants.
  • Analyze market conditions, competitive landscape, and customer needs to develop and maintain Loop's pricing strategy.
  • Partner with Product and GTM teams to define value metrics, feature packaging, and pricing tiers that align with merchant needs and market opportunities.
  • Create and maintain pricing policies, including discounting frameworks and approval processes.
  • Build data-driven models to evaluate pricing effectiveness and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Lead cross-functional pricing and packaging meetings to align stakeholders on pricing decisions and strategy.
  • Develop tools and processes to help sales teams effectively position and negotiate Loop's value proposition.
  • Partner with our Finance team to model pricing impacts on revenue, retention, and profitability.
  • Create and maintain pricing playbooks and training materials for GTM teams.
  • Establish pricing analytics capabilities to continuously monitor and improve pricing performance.

About You:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in pricing strategy and operations, preferably in B2B SaaS.
  • You have a bias to act first and iterate rather than holding out for the 'perfect' solution.
  • You can seamlessly transition from the big picture to the small details, combining analytical rigor with strategic thinking.
  • You have strong experience with pricing analytics, market research, and competitive analysis.
  • You're highly skilled at translating complex analysis into clear, actionable insights for various stakeholders.
  • You have experience building and maintaining pricing models in Excel and other analytical tools.
  • You're a natural collaborator who can communicate with, influence, and align stakeholders across Sales, Product, and Finance.
  • You have an attitude that truly nothing is "not your job." You feel excited by the need to act like an owner to solve problems and dig in, wherever needed.
  • You're energized by starting with a blank page and crafting the building blocks to drive long-term strategy.
  • You've worked cross-functionally to implement pricing changes and can speak to how you've managed change across organizations.
  • You have a history of making your role better than you found it because you lean into continuous improvement and an agile environment to experiment, measure, reflect, and iterate.
  • Preferred prior experience working with tools and data in a SaaS environment (Salesforce, Looker, Hex, Notion, etc.)

Loop Story
In a perfect world, Loop wouldn't exist. If we had our way, we'd live in a world where we're mindful about how we consume, we love every product we own, and we share values with the brands who create them. In reality, commerce isn't perfect and often breaks. Loop creates second chances.
We're starting by revolutionizing the post-purchase experience. We've taken one of the most fragile commerce interactions - returns - and turned it into something consumers actually love, and that deepens our connection to brands and products.
We take connection seriously on the inside, too. We're building a work experience that allows you to Be A Human First and prioritizes empathy and wellbeing. We view Loop as a special place in your career to shape the future of an industry and become a better person while doing it. You can grow faster here in a shorter amount of time - we'll give you space and trust you to fill it.
