Resident Consultant

Bentley Systems is seeking a talented individual to become a valued member of our successful Services team as a ProjectWise Resident Consultant. A ProjectWise Resident Consultant plays an important role in delivering ProjectWise-related consulting, training, support, and configuration services for the Texas Department of Transportation.

Location: Preferred to be in or near Texas, as occasional travel to Texas DOT offices located throughout the state would be required. However, home-based/hybrid work model will be considered in the US.

Required Skills

  • Possess 5 years working knowledge and experience with Bentley ProjectWise
  • Familiar with ProjectWise configuration and administration.
  • Experience with managing Bentley software Workspaces within the ProjectWise environment.
  • Experience developing training materials and/or recording training videos.
  • Strong command of the English language with clear speaking skills for recording videos and teaching live training classes
  • This role requires occasional travel to Texas DOT offices located throughout the state.
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements).

Responsibilities

  • Training, configuration, installation, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance and support of Bentley ProjectWise and related applications.
  • Provide technical assistance to TxDOT IT staff for the installation, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and configuration of ProjectWise.
  • Consults with TxDOT and Bentley civil-focused Resident Consultants on the support, configuration, and testing of the ProjectWise Managed Workspace.
  • Provides technical support to TxDOT ProjectWise users for questions or issues that may arise in the everyday operation and use of ProjectWise.
  • Provides and assists with the delivery of ProjectWise training statewide, including on-site training, as requested and scheduled by TxDOT.
  • Assist in developing Learning Paths and Knowledge Maps, emphasizing newer capabilities available to further advance user experience & knowledge.
  • Participate in the administration and upgrade planning of the ProjectWise environment.
  • Produce and post TxDOT-specific workflow and training videos.
  • Report to / take direction from the Bentley Project Coordinator and report to the assigned DOT manager for daily work assignments.
