The Operations Lead is the tactical anchor for the facility during core afternoon and weekend windows. This is a "Player-Coach" role: you will lead from the front, working alongside the team to drive KPIs while ensuring the site maintains strict adherence to TSA, IAC, and airport security protocols.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Throughput & PPLH: Maximize pieces per labor hour through efficient staging and team pacing.
• Scan & Dim Accuracy: Ensure maximum capture of dimensional data to protect revenue. Ensure all packages are scanned and sorted properly.
• On-Time Dispatch: 100% on-time loading and departure for all Ground and Air loads.

Core Responsibilities

• Site Leadership & Weekend POC: Serve as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for the site on weekends. Manage all on-site communications and troubleshooting.
• Opening & Closing: Responsible for formal building closure during weekdays and both opening/closing procedures on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Safety & Protocol Adherence: Maintain a "Safety First" environment. Ensure all TSA and Indirect Air Carrier (IAC) protocols are followed, including cargo screening integrity and chain of custody.
• Problem Solving & Escalation: Independently problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. Escalate issues to the Station Manager or appropriate party when necessary.
• Security Clearance: Obtain and maintain SIDA badging clearance from John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH).
• Logistics Documentation: Prepare and audit Bills of Lading (BOLs), Airway Bills (AWBs), and associated shipping documentation.
• Daily Presort Leadership: Lead the mandatory start-of-shift huddle to communicate targets and station assignments.
• Hands-On Execution: Meet all physical requirements of warehouse work (sorting, lifting up to 50 lbs, staging) while supervising the floor.
