Sales & Business Development
Columbus, OH, USA
Posted on Mar 5, 2026
The Sales Team at Loop is the engine that powers the business. In an ever evolving market and company, the sales team seeks to provide revenue and stability that can accelerate our vision to market.
If you’re motivated by selling to top-tier e-commerce brands and thrive in a fast-moving environment, this role offers a unique platform. Loop’s evolution into a multi-product company unlocks new cross-sell and upsell opportunities, deeper partnerships, and greater revenue impact. You’ll operate with autonomy, influence product direction through customer feedback, and directly shape the company’s growth trajectory.
Right away, we’ve listed what we think you’ll be spending your time on. We’re growing fast, and growth means the challenges we’ll work on together will change as we lead Loop through new and different phases.
This is an indispensable role with us, so we’ll be looking for you to have examples of when you’ve tackled these challenges throughout your career. We’ve laid out the experience we think is important to set you up for success in this role. But, we appreciate that different humans will solve problems in different ways, so we don’t expect you to fit exactly in a box of requirements.
At Loop, we’re intentional about the way we work so that we can do our best work. We call this our Blended Working Environment. We work from our HQ in Columbus, OH, or one of our Hub or Secluded locations, and are distributed throughout the United States, select Canadian provinces, and the United Kingdom. For this position, we are looking for a teammate located in the United States.

What You’ll Do:

  • You’ll have monthly and annual quotas for revenue, which you’ll accomplish through a consultative approach - you should love breaking down online business models, thoroughly understanding them, and using that context to pitch our value to merchants.
  • As Loop continues to evolve into a multi-product platform, you’ll position and sell across our full suite of solutions, identifying opportunities to deliver incremental value through cross-sell and upsell motions.
  • Own a true 360° sales cycle from prospecting net-new accounts and engaging existing merchants, through discovery, demo, negotiation, and closing, all the way to a seamless and successful handoff to our onboarding team.
  • Act as THE voice of our market, sharing insights with our marketing, merchant success and product teams so we can be exceptional at responding to market needs.
  • You can expect to sell to a variety of stakeholders - our merchants typically involve their customer experience, technical, product, and accounting teams in our conversations. To be successful in these conversations, you’ll need the ability to partner with internal leaders to scope and clarify where the sale is required.
  • Work effectively in ambiguity, helping shape the playbook instead of waiting for one.
  • You’ll accurately manage, track, and precisely forecast revenue opportunities in Salesforce & Gong. You’ll collaborate with Sales Development, Marketing, Merchant Success, and other relevant teams to drive maximum opportunities through your pipeline.

About You:

  • You have 2+ years of SaaS sales experience.
  • You can share examples of how you have consistently met or exceeded revenue goals year over year, including both new logo acquisition and expansion revenue.
  • You have experience owning a full-cycle sales motion and can confidently speak to how you manage prospecting, discovery, negotiation, closing, and handoff.
  • You bring a high level of curiosity to your sales approach; you love understanding how businesses operate, asking thoughtful questions, and uncovering opportunities others might miss.
  • You take ownership seriously. You don’t wait for direction, you drive the process, control your pipeline, and own your number. When challenges arise, you lean in and figure it out.
  • You are data-driven in your decision-making. You use metrics to prioritize accounts, manage your pipeline, forecast accurately, and continuously refine your approach to improve performance.
  • You can share examples of cross-functional collaboration with internal teams (Solutions Engineers, Marketing, Partnerships, Merchant Success, etc).
  • You have experience with sales tools like Salesforce, Gong, Clay, etc.
  • You are able to clearly articulate your sales process, expansion strategy, and forecasting methodology.
  • You have experience maintaining the hygiene of your CRM and data.
  • If you have experience working with Shopify, ecommerce, and/or the post-purchase ecosystem, that is a huge plus for us!
  • You’ve worked at a startup company (or a few) and know what it means to make it through the various stages of rapid growth.
