Salon Attendant, Hair Color Bar

As the Madison Reed Hair Color Bar Salon Attendant, you will be responsible for overall housekeeping duties to maintain the cleanliness of the Hair Color Bar. This will include cleaning client stations, washing and arranging the towels, ongoing restroom maintenance, vacuuming, dusting and rearranging the Hair Color Bar after client check out. This role is important to our clients’ Hair Color Bar experience and will help to provide and maintain the highest standards of customer service. The Salon Attendant is an expert on managing the overall maintenance of the Hair Color Bar, working closely with our team to maintain the utmost quality to provide our clients.

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for cleaning, stocking, and replenishing the Hair Color Bar (dusting, sweeping, mopping, ceiling vents, restroom, etc)
  • Maintenance for back of the house; cleaning breakroom, stocking and organizing products and Hair Color Bar supplies
  • Communicate inventory of all supplies related to cleaning and maintenance (laundry, cleaning, etc.) to avoid interruption of service
  • Launder towels, capes, aprons and smocks to ensure levels are stocked and ready to accommodate team members and clients
  • Empty garbage and recycle bins as needed
  • Replenish all operational stock levels in front and back of Hair Color Bar
  • Follow all health and safety regulations including disinfection and storage of Hair Color Bar tools.

Who you are:

  • Exemplary attention to detail
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a housekeeping or similar role within a commercial business
  • Sell motivated team player with a “can-do” attitude and good communication and organizational skills
  • Responsible, dependable
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective communicator
  • Able to handle a flexible schedule

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the employee will regularly stand/walk for 4 consecutive hours or more at a time; regularly bend and twist at the waist, manipulate fingers and hands, bend wrists and arms, reach with hands and arms, speak, see, hear, and lift/move up to 5 pounds. May on occasion sit, kneel, stoop, crouch, push or pull up to 20 pounds
