We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Provider Engagement/Onboarding Specialist to join our team. You will work closely with the contracting team to ensure a seamless transition for providers after they have signed their contracts. You will be responsible for reaching out to providers, onboarding them, reiterating their contract terms, and explaining our processes. You will foster strong relationships with our providers and ensuring they have a clear understanding of their engagement with our organization.

How you will make an impact

  • Conduct outreach to providers following a warm transfer from the contracting team.
  • Welcome and onboard new providers, ensuring they feel supported and informed.
  • Reiterate contract terms and conditions, addressing any questions or concerns providers may have.
  • Explain Nomi processes, systems, and expectations clearly and thoroughly.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for providers during the onboarding process.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with providers.
  • Provide ongoing support and follow-up to ensure providers are satisfied and fully integrated into our syste
  • Work closely with the contracting team to ensure a smooth transition and handoff.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to address any provider-related issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of provider interactions and onboarding progress.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the onboarding experience for providers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for provider engagement and onboarding.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in provider relations, onboarding, or a related role in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare provider contracts and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with providers and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant healthcare software.
