The Problems You’ll Solve
We’re looking for a passionate and hands-on VP, People Operations to help scale and elevate Rebuy’s People Ops functions. In this role, you’ll be at the center of the journey designing systems, processes and programs that enable connection, growth and high performance along with compliance and efficiency. You will balance big-picture strategy and execution along with delivering HR operations and support across the employee lifecycle and experience. As the strategic partner on the leadership team, you’ll advance our people and culture initiatives, foster a positive and engaged employee experience, and champion continuous improvements that directly influence the success of our teams and the business overall.
Employee Experience & Culture
Own the onboarding, culture integration, and offboarding experience for all Rebots.
Serve as a confidential point of contact for workplace concerns, ensuring timely and appropriate escalation.
Plan and deliver employee engagement initiatives that support a high-performing, mission-aligned culture.
Establish lightweight, scalable processes for performance reviews, engagement surveys, and feedback loops.
People Leadership & Organizational Development
Build a best-in-class People Ops team that’s led with collaboration, mentorship and development to promote individual and team performance.
Partner with key stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and values.
Conduct regular compensation and benefits benchmarking to support equitable and competitive total rewards practices.
Partner with leadership to implement fair, transparent performance and compensation processes.
Collaborate with team leads to translate company goals into actionable people programs.
Manage employee relations issues end-to-end, including coaching, documentation, and investigations.
Partner with IT, Finance, and Operations to align people processes and cross-functional initiatives with organizational goals.
HR Operations, Compliance & Total Rewards
Develop, implement, and clearly communicate people policies that are compliant, equitable, and aligned with company values.
Maintain industry-leading practices that support a high-trust, secure, and compliant workforce.
Implement and optimize HR systems (HRIS, payroll, benefits) with an emphasis on automation, efficiency, and data accuracy.
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance employee and manager self-service capabilities.
Who You Are

The Hard Skills:
10+ years of progressive People Ops / HR experience with strong hands-on execution across HR operations and ideally within a fast-growing tech startup.
Deep understanding of employment best practices, compliance frameworks, and labor standards, particularly within US and Canadian organizations.
Demonstrated ability to design and operationalize onboarding, offboarding, and performance systems.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to problem solve and create solutions that drive business results.
Confidence in managing HRIS (BambooHR, Pulley, Employee Navigator, Ashby) and people programs.
Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership to align people strategies with business goals and drive organizational transformation.
Proven experience designing and implementing smart, scalable organizational structures for hyper-growth startups, including establishing clear leveling frameworks and career progression policies.

Highly organized and detail-oriented; you can handle multiple projects and dynamic priorities without missing a beat.
High emotional and social intelligence with experience fostering positive, strong relationships with diverse groups of people and complex dynamics.
Passionate about people and how they function together to create a valuable organization.
Collaborative decision-maker who actively elicits input, listens deeply, and fosters collective decision-making through strong facilitation.
Proven ability to balance long-term planning with hands-on execution.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $160,000 - $220,00 USD annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter and hiring manager can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
