Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Renewal Manager to join the Sophos team. As a Renewal Manager, you will play a critical role in affecting and operating the renewal process for our existing customer base. You will lead a team of renewals-focused analysts and own the end-to-end renewals process for your customer base. Ideally, you possess strong people management skills, excellent attention to detail, and an understanding of business processes related to customer renewals.

What You Will Do

  • Team Leader: Cultivate a strong team-first mentality within a new team. Work with colleagues in other regions to learn the best processes, and adapt them for your team’s customer base.
  • Process Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement on performance, process, and data accuracy. Drive data quality, process, and automation activities that improve process efficiencies.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, customer success, and product management, to ensure alignment and coordination throughout the renewal process. Clearly communicate renewal status, risks, and opportunities to relevant stakeholders.
  • Revenue Optimization: Drive the process of identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding customer contracts during the renewal journey. Work closely with the sales team to drive revenue growth from existing customers.
  • Business Intelligence: Provide critical business insights to sales leadership based on business acumen and data analysis, be able to identify issues, recommend action plans, and execute. Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly opportunity pipeline analysis, and data validation and identify gaps and actions required.

What You Will Bring

  • Entrepreneurial approach to business, team management, and drive to improve processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or Marketing preferred; or proven relevant experience in previous roles.
  • At least 2 years managing a Renewals Team within a SaaS organization preferred.
  • Experience in Sales, Customer Success, or Renewal Management preferred.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce tools such as Lightning and CPQ, as well as additional tools like Outreach, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with customers.
  • A self-motivated and proactive approach to a set of tasks, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience in the technology industry or a SaaS-based organization is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with contract management processes and legal terminology is a plus.
