Clutch, an Andreessen Horowitz backed vertical SaaS company, develops software that empowers credit unions to function as fintech lenders and responsibly lend to over 130M Americans. As an Implementation Engineer, you will be responsible for setting clients up for long-term success on Clutch products by managing the implementation process for our Customers. As one of our technical post-sale consultants, you will drive design, configuration and delivery of Clutch’s platform.
This role is a good fit for people with strong communication skills and a technical backgrounds who enjoy communicating and empathizing with both internal and external stakeholders.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Lead and architect technical vision for large enterprise customer’s implementation, testing and reporting, including collaboration with product and engineering for the implementation of beta products with customers
  • Work with and directly support our customers to craft the best possible experiences for users in Clutch
  • Implement and troubleshoot Clutch solutions in a wide array of configurations and Client environments
  • Be an expert on Clutch’s platform capabilities and app design patterns
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve and evolve products
  • Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple Implementation projects
  • Effectively communicate plans, progress and status to both internal and Customer stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Product and Engineering teams within Clutch to run beta programs for new features, improve the platform, and grow our fintech community

Skillset you will bring

  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal. Comfortable leading meetings with customers
  • Ability to identify and clearly communicate pragmatic solutions to complex integration problems.
  • Background in Computer Science or strong technical training
  • 2+ years experience integrating with web APIs. Experience with modern web frameworks a plus (React, Node.js, etc)
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and understand complex systems (APIs, databases, SDK's, etc.)
  • Self-starter with the ability to assess, troubleshoot and work autonomously to decompose and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand code in multiple programming languages
  • Knowledge of python, javascript, typescript, json, github and terminal
  • Superior time management skills to manage multiple external customers simultaneously
  • A passion for working with people, paired with excellent communication skills; you can explain a complex technical issue in such a way that most people could understand
